Conversion & Early Access Edge

The conversion model, engagement rules, and the early-access edge that accelerates FOMO farming in Closed Beta.

During the pre-launch phase, users earned DPS through the Long/Short mini-game and quests designed to build trading literacy.

Before Closed Beta, DPS were snapshotted and converted into FOMOfrozen — a non-transferable balance that carries forward early effort and unlocks only through real trading.

Early Access Edge

Closed Beta provides a higher unfreeze multiplier and a “non-zero” starting level, giving its participants a significant advantage — their FOMO farming speed is 5–10× faster than that of users joining later, who start with little to no frozen balance.

Beta Participant

Starting Position

Hatchling or Entryaptor, depending on FOMOfrozen balance.

Earns +0.25 → +0.3 → … FOMO per $1 as levels increase.

FOMOfrozen Substantial balance, converted 1 → 2 FOMO, 1 → 1.5, or 1 → 1, depending on Batch conditions.

Post-Beta User, no DPS

Starting Position

Primarily Egg , standard points apply.

Earns +0.1 → +0.2 → … FOMO per $1 traded as levels increase.

FOMOfrozen None, or critically low balance, 1 → 1.

A small share of about 10% of FOMOfrozen may still be issued to new users through future events, while roughly 90% remains allocated to early DPS holders.

For a $100 trade volume:

1st Batch Participant, Entryaptor: Earns 25 FOMO from unfreeze + 200 FOMO from level rewards. 225 FOMO total. Post-Beta User, Hatchling: Earns only 20 FOMO, with FOMOfrozen balance applied.

1st Batch Participant, Entryaptor: 225 FOMO Post-Beta User, Hatchling: 20 FOMO

How the Conversion Works

1

Weighted Conversion & Adaptive Ideal

All DPS was first split by source:

Source:
Composition:

Active DPS

Long/Short mini-game orders, side events

Other DPS

Referrals, quest completions, daily streaks

During conversion, Active and Other DPS sources were merged using global weights that modestly favored direct participation.

The final ratio:

Wtotal=0.51×DPSactive+0.49×DPSotherW_{total} = 0.51 \times DPS_{active} + 0.49 \times DPS_{other}

This balance kept referral-based growth meaningful while giving slightly higher weight to genuine in-app activity.

These coefficients define how much weight is given to active versus passive participation within each user’s own DPS mix. They are not related to the overall share of FOMOfrozen distribution across the system.

2

Adaptive Ideal

To make the recalculation fair across all cohorts, each account’s activity was additionally evaluated against an Adaptive Ideal — a model representing the level of participation that would theoretically be required to achieve a similar DPS volume with a 100% win rate in the Long/Short mini-game.

The metric is called Adaptive Ideal because it describes an idealized, practically unattainable model of behavior.

Accounts whose activity approached this reference received the maximum possible amount of FOMOfrozen for their DPS volume.

For less active participants, the final amount was smoothly adjusted in proportion to the deviation — by up to −25% from the maximum possible FOMOfrozen for that DPS volume.

3

Normalize & Convert

After calculation, results went through mild outlier smoothing to minimize the risk of distribution imbalance.

Accounts identified with duplicate entries, inactive referrals, or sybil-like behavior were flagged and removed from Closed Beta eligibility, with rewards substantially reduced or cancelled.
