Entry Requirements: Leaderboard eligibility requires ≥$5,000 volume generated after the event starts

The prize pool can reach up to $20,000, shared between the ROI and Volume leaderboards at the final snapshot.

Anyone can join at any time. To appear on the leaderboards, traders need at least $5,000 in trading volume counted from the event start.

Deposits and withdrawals during the event are allowed. ROI is based on a trader’s total contributed capital, so balance changes are handled fairly

Trade at least $5,000 in volume after the event begins. All rankings and rewards, participation bonus included, require this volume threshold.

Rules & Rewards

Pirates of the Hypersea runs two leaderboards — ROI and Volume — to fairly reward both skillful capital use and active trading.

25 winners are selected: 20 from ROI and 5 from Volume.

Dollar prizes are divided 40% to ROI and 60% to Volume. FOMO rewards follow a different model: ROI winners receive fixed amounts, while Volume winners earn percentage multipliers applied to gained during the event.

ROI Leaderboard

The ROI Leaderboard ranks traders by how efficiently they used their capital throughout the competition. Winners receive fixed prizes and fixed FOMO rewards according to their rank.

Deposits and withdrawals during the event are allowed.

ROI compares a trader’s final balance to the amount of money they actually put into the event:

$$ROI = \frac{\text{Final Balance} - \text{Contributed Capital}}{\text{Contributed Capital}} \times 100$$

ROI is based on total contributed capital, so any balance changes are handled fairly and cannot be used to manipulate the leaderboard.

Example 1: Profit

Deposited $1,000 → ended with $1,500 ROI = (1500 − 1000) / 1000 × 100% = +50%

Example 2: Loss

Volume Leaderboard

In addition to prizes, the top 5 traders receive a multiplier applied to their earned FOMO.

The multiplier applies only to FOMO earned from level progression during the event. It does not apply to unfrozen FOMO, referral bonuses, or any other non-level sources.

Participation Bonus

All leaderboard participants (≥$5,000 event volume) receive 5,000 FOMO after event end.

Verification & Payouts

Results are verified through Hyperliquid API. Prize and coverage payouts are processed within 48 hours after final verification.
